Recyke-a-bike is a vibrant and community-focused charity that combines a passion for cycling with a commitment to making a positive impact. Our team is at the heart of everything we do, working together to deliver a wide range of services that promote sustainable transport, cycling education, and community wellbeing.
As part of our team, you could be involved in:
- Bike Mechanics: Repairing, servicing, and refurbishing bikes to high standards, ensuring they’re safe and affordable for our customers.
- Training and Education: Teaching bike maintenance skills, delivering Bikeability lessons in schools, and running cycling programmes for all ages and abilities.
- Community Outreach: Supporting initiatives such as Dr Bike sessions, Active Travel projects, and our bike library, which make cycling accessible to everyone.
- Retail and Customer Service: Helping customers find the perfect bike, providing advice, and promoting cycling in the local community.
- Fundraising, Finance, and Administration: Securing funding through grants and community support, managing budgets, organising fundraising opportunities, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
