Recyke-a-bike: improving lives through bikes since 2005.
At Recyke-a-bike, we believe in the transformative power of cycling. Since 2005, we’ve worked to relieve poverty, improve health, promote education, and protect the environment within our community – all through the humble bicycle. As a registered charity, we’re not only dedicated to recycling bikes but to bringing cycling into everyone’s lives, regardless of their background or means.
Our well-stocked shop, located on Ladysneuk Road, is filled with quality, modestly priced bikes. These bikes offer the chance to connect with the joy of cycling, whether for leisure, exercise, or essential transport. Owning a bike means empowerment, freedom, and a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle – and we’re thrilled to support that journey in our community.
Beyond our shop, we run projects that make cycling more accessible and inclusive. From Bikeability training in primary schools and disability cycling sessions to free bike projects and InspiRide – which encourages participants towards positive destinations via our supportive training and employability course – we aim to make cycling a lifelong skill and a source of joy. We couldn’t do this without you! Every donation, every purchase, every shared ride supports our mission to build a community united by cycling. Whether it’s contributing to free bike programmes or supporting cycling education for young people, your help makes a direct impact. Thank you for helping us make a difference – together, we can pedal towards a brighter future.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
